This wedding was literally a DIY wedding! The bride's parents transformed their backyard into a breathtaking wedding ceremony site and reception, complete with a jamming band from Atlanta and dance floor.
Jennifer and Jason were married at the courthouse 9 years ago, and they now have two adorable daughters. It has always been a dream of Jennifer's to be a bride, so her parents made her dream a reality. They transformed their private backyard into a magical garden.
The chuppah was made by Jason and had babies breath woven into the top lattice, it was stunning. As the guests entered the ceremony site, they received a white balloon, which they released after the happy couple said "I do" for the second time. Tables and chairs surrounded the pool as the guests enjoyed challah baked by the bride herself, and a fabulous family style meal. The desserts displayed elegantly on the dessert table were prepared by Jennifer's mom. Lawn games were made by Jason and set up in the backyard, while guests had a great time competing with one another. Fireworks flashed into the sky as the couple danced their first dance together as the new Mr. and Mrs. Carmer; it was such a sweet night. And the best part about this wedding was that it was all orchestrated and designed by Jennifer and Jason.
Congratulations Jennifer and Jason!
