As 2014 comes to a close, my heart is filled with thankfulness and gratitude. It was an amazing year both personally and professionally. As a longtime animal rights advocate and equine enthusiast, I was able to take a short break from the demands of the wedding industry and spend several months on the Hunter Jumper Circuit photographing the Spring Concours I and II Grand Prix events at Fox Lea Farm. It was an amazing experience, and one that I will cherish for years to come.
As the Circuit drew to a close, I was introduced to the exciting world of culinary art. Celebrated Paleo Chef Corey Hogue, of Roaming Chef of Naples, commissioned MRP for a shoot in support of his upcoming organic paleo cookbook. The session was a great success and I fell in love with “food photography”. I enjoyed it so much, that I created my own illustrated cookbook for friends and family. It was a Christmas gift from the heart. I am looking forward to the New Year and many new things to come, and wish you all growth and prosperity for 2015.
