This wedding was very special to me, because I have known Julia for over 13 years. I was hired back in the day to photograph Judy Vaux’s three beautiful daughters, and that is when it all began.
During our beach session, thirteen years ago, I learned that Judy was an elementary school teacher at Osceola Elementary, where Trevor (my son) was attending at that time. I fell in love with Judy, and requested her as Trevor’s third grade teacher. Honestly, it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. I am such a sap when it comes to Trevor, who is now 19 years old and away at college. Where did the time go?

I have had the privilege of photographing the Vaux girl’s senior portraits and now their weddings, all three of them! As you can see from the images below, the Vaux girls are gorgeous; and not only from the outside, but also on the inside.

Julia was the baby, and the last to say “I do”. I must admit that it was bittersweet, not only for her mom, but for me as well.

Julia and Eric selected the historical Heitman House for their wedding ceremony and celebration. Julia looked stunning in her Eddy K gown. She wore in her hair a simple, yet elegant beaded headband. At the risk of sounding cheesy…to me, she looked so much like Princess Diana. Hair and makeup for the ladies was beautifully done by Salon Adrian. Planned Perfection did an amazing job with the bouquets, ceremony site and reception flowers. Eric Tharp with All Request Entertainment rocked the night away playing favorite tunes for the happy couple.

I have known Julia most of her life, and Eric is the perfect man for her!  Julia is a conservative, yet creative woman, and Eric balances her out beautifully. I am confidant that their marriage will last a lifetime.

The happy couple honeymooned in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

Julia and Eric, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day.
